Packing Tape by the Case for Shipping Season
Global Industrial lists the Shurtape AP 201 Carton Sealing Tape (2 inches by 110 yards, 2 mil, clear) in a 36-roll pack at $108.00, down from $150.48 — about 28% off, or $3.00 a roll. The holiday season means more parcels, and buying tape by the case is cheaper than picking up single rolls.
What the Specifications Mean
"2 mil" refers to the tape thickness, and 110 yards is the length of each roll. A 2-inch-wide clear tape is a standard choice for sealing cartons. Check the product page for the adhesive type and whether the tape suits cold storage or heavy boxes.
Who Needs 36 Rolls?
Small online sellers, craft businesses and anyone shipping many gifts will go through rolls quickly. For a few holiday parcels, 36 rolls is far too many. Compare the cost per roll with a smaller pack at a local store before you commit.
Holiday Shipping Tips
Use enough tape on seams, and reinforce heavy boxes. Check carrier cutoffs in our last-minute gifts and shipping deadlines guide, and see our return policies guide for gift returns. Small Business Saturday (November 28) and Cyber Monday (November 30) are busy days for sellers.
Freight and Delivery
Bulk supplies can ship by freight, and the delivered price decides the real cost. Check the cart for shipping charges, and see whether larger orders qualify for lower per-unit pricing.

The Bottom Line
A sensible bulk buy for sellers and heavy shippers. Everyone else should buy a smaller pack.
