A Full-Price Listing on a Premium Cordless Mower
Lowe's lists the EGO POWER+ Select Cut 56V 21-inch self-propelled cordless electric lawn mower (LM2135SP), as a 7.5Ah kit, at $649.00 with no discount showing. This is a full-price purchase, so it is worth evaluating on what you get.
What the EGO 56V Platform Means
EGO is one of the best-known names in cordless outdoor power equipment. Its mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools share a 56-volt lithium-ion battery platform, so buying this mower can double as the start of a one-battery yard setup.
Why Self-Propelled Matters
A self-propelled mower drives its own wheels, which takes most of the effort out of pushing on slopes or through thick grass. For larger lawns, or anyone who finds pushing a mower tiring, it is a meaningful upgrade over a standard push mower.
What the 7.5Ah Battery Means
The battery's amp-hour rating sets how long a charge lasts, and a larger battery generally means more mowing per charge. A 7.5Ah kit is aimed at mid-size to larger yards, but run time depends on grass height, terrain, and mowing speed.
Cordless vs. Gas
A cordless electric mower removes the gas, oil, spark plugs, and pull-starts of a traditional mower and runs far quieter. The tradeoff is a higher upfront price, so compare against gas alternatives before deciding.
Why Buy It at Lowe's
A mower is a bulky item, so Lowe's delivery and in-store pickup options are a real convenience, and a local store gives you an easier return and service point if something goes wrong.
The Bottom Line
At $649.00 with no discount shown, this is a premium purchase for a self-propelled cordless mower on a widely supported battery platform — best for buyers who want to leave gas behind and may add other EGO tools later.
